How it works

Available on request. Book a call, we scope it against WooCommerce's published API, build and test it with your team, and it goes live in your account.

  1. Your store owner creates read and write API keys for Velarya in WooCommerce, or approves Velarya on WooCommerce's authorization screen.

  2. Velarya registers order webhooks on your store through the WooCommerce REST API, so each paid or refunded order is sent to Velarya.

  3. Velarya matches the order to a member by billing email or phone and adds or takes back points.

  4. When a member redeems, Velarya creates a single-use coupon in WooCommerce that works at your store's checkout.

Each connection is scoped on a call and quoted separately, and the timeline is agreed on that call.

Does Velarya integrate with WooCommerce?

Available on request: our team builds the connection for your practice after a scoping call, using WooCommerce's published API. Once it is live, paid store orders earn points for the members they match.

Do we need to install a WordPress plugin?

The points and coupon connection runs on the REST API and webhooks that are part of WooCommerce. A plugin only comes into it if you want members to see their balance on your website, and we scope that on the call.

Is patient data stored in WooCommerce?

Nothing personal is written to your store. Velarya reads paid orders to award points and writes back only single-use coupon codes, so no member names, visits or treatments land on your WordPress site.

How do members spend points in our WooCommerce store?

A member turns points into a single-use coupon in the app, and Velarya creates that coupon in WooCommerce through the REST API. The member enters the code at your checkout, where it works like any coupon your store issues.

Who creates the API keys?

Your store owner or web developer, from a WordPress account your practice keeps. WooCommerce issues the keys in its settings, or on its authorization screen, and the owner can revoke them in WooCommerce at any time.

Patient data

Your WooCommerce store runs on hosting your practice chooses, and the connection writes nothing personal to it: orders come into Velarya, and only coupon codes with no name or visit details go back. Any agreement about patient data on the store itself is between your practice and its host.

Requirements
