A dermatology loyalty program of your own, alongside Allē and ASPIRE

Your cosmetic patients already collect manufacturer points. Give them a dermatology loyalty program that rewards coming back to your practice, in an app that opens into your practice, with a BAA signed before any patient data is processed.

What you get

Built for dermatology practices

  • HIPAA-ready, with a signed BAA

Sensitive personal data is encrypted and access-logged, and Velarya signs a Business Associate Agreement with every practice.

  • Points and rewards

Points on what people spend on treatments, at a higher rate for members, turned into wallet credit they spend in the app.

  • Paid memberships

Monthly credits, included treatments and member pricing, bought and renewed in the app.

  • Referral rewards

Both people are rewarded when a friend joins, under activation rules you set, such as a first paid treatment or joining a membership.

  • Sign-up bonus and birthday gift

Points, credit or a free treatment when someone joins, and a birthday gift you can target.

  • Book in the app

Book, earn and redeem in one app, or switch Velarya booking off and keep the scheduler you use today.

  • Your own app

Your own iOS and Android app, listed in the stores under your practice's name and published under your Apple developer account.

  • One program across locations

One loyalty program and one app across every location, with pricing, hours and staff set per location.

The app

Book, earn and redeem in one app

Patients book, collect points, check in with a QR code and spend their wallet credit in one app. On every plan that is the Velarya app on the App Store and Google Play, styled in your colors. On the Branded and Connected plans it is your own app, listed in both stores under your name.

Velarya gives a dermatology practice a loyalty program of its own. It runs your rewards and paid memberships in one app, beside the manufacturer programs your cosmetic patients already use, such as Allē and ASPIRE Galderma Rewards. Patients earn points on what they spend with you on treatments and turn them into wallet credit they spend with you. Your practice software keeps the clinical record, and every plan comes with a signed Business Associate Agreement.

Your own program next to Allē and ASPIRE

Allē, from AbbVie, and ASPIRE Galderma Rewards are funded by the manufacturers. Each runs one brand-owned app across every practice that takes part, and its rewards are tied to that manufacturer’s products. Your patients keep earning in them exactly as they do today.

A program of your own rewards something else: coming back to your practice, for any treatment on your cosmetic menu, whatever brand it uses. The credit patients build up is spent with you, and the app they open to check it carries your name and your next openings.

Manufacturer program details come from each program’s App Store listing, read September 22, 2026. For their published earning rules, expiry clocks and caps, see our guide to manufacturer loyalty programs.

Where the program fits in a medical and cosmetic practice

The program lives in an app for dermatologists’ cosmetic patients and sits beside the system that runs your medical side.

A dermatology practice usually sees two kinds of visit: medical visits billed to insurance through your practice software, and cosmetic treatments that patients pay for themselves. You can keep your loyalty program on the cosmetic side. It is the same line the manufacturer programs draw: Allē’s published earning page limits points to cash-pay procedures (read August 20, 2026, and quoted in our manufacturer programs guide).

Velarya makes that line simple to hold, because points on spend come only from treatments patients buy or book through Velarya. Sell and book your cosmetic menu in the app, keep medical visits in your practice software, and only cosmetic spending earns points. Check-in points are a separate switch, so you decide whether scanning a patient’s code at a visit earns anything at all.

You set every reward and every rule. If your practice bills Medicare, Medicaid or another federal health program, talk to your counsel about patient incentives before you launch.

What patients earn and redeem

Think of the program as dermatology marketing for patients who already know you:

  • Points on cosmetic treatments. Patients earn on what they spend with you, at the rate you set per dollar, and members earn at a higher rate.
  • Paid memberships. A dermatology membership can carry wallet credit, a treatment such as a facial or peel each cycle, and member pricing on the rest of your cosmetic menu. Patients buy and use it in the app, and renewal reminders go out on their own.
  • Sign-up bonus and birthday gift. New patients get points, credit or a free treatment when they join in the app. On their birthday they get points, a free treatment or a percentage off, and you choose who qualifies: everyone, members, recent visitors or top spenders.
  • Referrals. Both people are rewarded when a friend joins and meets the rule you set, such as a first paid treatment. The referral program page covers every setting.

Points turn into wallet credit in the app, and the credit pays for treatments and memberships at checkout.

Your practice’s name on the app, and a signed BAA

From day one your patients can use the Velarya app, which is on the App Store and Google Play: they find your practice once, and the app then shows your colors. On the Branded and Connected plans we build your own app and publish it under your practice’s name, from your own Apple developer account.

We sign a Business Associate Agreement with your practice whichever plan you choose. The detail is on our security page.

Practice systems used in dermatology, such as ModMed, are listed on our integrations page as available on request, built for your practice on the Connected plan after a scoping call. To see the program from your patients’ side and your team’s, book a demo.

Frequently asked questions

Can patients keep their Allē and ASPIRE points?

Yes. Manufacturer programs run in their own apps under their own terms, and Velarya leaves them as they are. Your Velarya program sits beside them and rewards patients for coming back to your practice, with wallet credit they spend with you.

Can we keep the program to cosmetic treatments?

Yes. Points on spend come from treatments patients buy or book through Velarya, so if your cosmetic menu is sold and booked in the app and medical visits stay in your practice software, only cosmetic spending earns points. Check-in points are a separate setting you can leave off.

Will Velarya replace our dermatology software?

It runs beside it. Your current system keeps the clinical record and insurance billing, and Velarya runs the cosmetic side: rewards, paid memberships, referrals and the app your patients use.

Can we have our own dermatology app?

Yes, on the Branded and Connected plans. We build it, list it in the App Store and Google Play under your practice's name and publish it from your own Apple developer account. On every plan, patients can start in the Velarya app, which shows your colors once they find your practice.

Does Velarya sign a BAA?

Yes. Every practice gets a signed Business Associate Agreement, on every plan.

Can patients buy a skin care membership in the app?

Yes. You set the price, how often it bills and what each cycle carries: wallet credit, an included treatment, member pricing on your cosmetic menu, or a mix. Patients buy and use it in the app, and members can earn points at a higher rate.

Are there rules on patient rewards in dermatology practice marketing?

Yes, especially if your practice bills Medicare, Medicaid or another federal health program, so have counsel review any patient incentive before launch. Keeping points to cash-pay cosmetic treatments follows the same line Allē's published earning page draws.
