Are there contracts or hidden fees?
No contracts. Every plan is month to month and the price you see is the price you pay. There are no modules to unlock and no clinical add-on, so charting, memberships, rewards and marketing are already in your plan. The only extra on this page is the Signature setup fee, and annual billing waives it.
Do I need my own app, or is the Velarya app enough?
Both are real apps with the same features. On Essentials your clinic lives inside the Velarya app, which rebrands itself to match your practice, so patients can book, buy and manage memberships from day one. Signature is your own app in the app stores, under your clinic's name, with your icon on your patient's home screen.
Can I keep my current EMR, or does Velarya replace it?
Velarya can replace your EMR, or run alongside it as your patient app while your current system keeps booking and charting. Keep your EMR and Velarya handles loyalty, memberships and shopping, with Velarya booking switched off so there is only ever one calendar. Or move everything to Velarya and pay one subscription instead of two: charting, intake forms, consent and e-signature, photo documentation and medical alerts are on every plan.
Is the free data migration and 1:1 onboarding really free?
Yes, for most clinics. We move your clients, appointments and history from your current system at no charge, and onboarding is included. The exceptions are clinics with many locations or an unusually large amount of data, and we tell you which you are before you commit to anything.
What does payment processing cost?
You pay Stripe's standard rates and nothing on top from us. That is 2.7% + 5¢ for cards tapped or inserted in your clinic, and 2.9% + 30¢ for cards on file and online payments.
Do I need my own Apple Developer account?
Yes, and we set it up with you. Apple requires an app published under your clinic's name to sit in your clinic's own Apple Developer Organization account. You own that account, and we publish on your behalf as your authorized agent, so you are never locked out of your own app.
