Pricing questions
Is there a free trial?
No. Every plan comes with a 30-day money-back guarantee: if Velarya is not for you in your first 30 days, we refund what you paid. Monthly billing can be cancelled any time.
What does per location mean?
Every plan is priced per location, per month. Every plan covers as many locations as you run, and each one is billed at the plan's rate, so three locations on Scale cost three times the Scale price. Connected is quoted for the locations you run.
What does Basic include, and what does it leave out?
Basic is the entry plan for a small team: up to 5 staff, booking in the Velarya app (or keep your scheduler), paid memberships, points on treatment spend that turn into wallet credit, referral rewards, and 250 SMS and 1,000 emails a month. It leaves out the sign-up bonus and birthday gift, QR check-in points, promo codes, two-way texting and calling, and charting. Scale adds all of those. Basic is priced per location like every other plan, and it carries the same BAA.
What is the difference between annual and monthly billing?
Annual billing gives you one month free: you pay up front for 12 months at the price of 11. Per location, that comes to $869 on Basic, $1,859 on Scale and $4,719 on Branded for the year, paid up front, which works out to about $73 on Basic, $155 on Scale and $394 on Branded a month. Monthly billing is $79 on Basic, $169 on Scale and $429 on Branded per location, paid month by month, and you can cancel any time.
Is there a contract?
Monthly billing is month to month, and you can cancel any time. Annual billing is a 12-month commitment, paid up front, in exchange for one month free. The terms for your plan are set out in your service agreement.
Is there a setup fee?
No. There is no setup fee on any plan. Onboarding is one-to-one with our team. The work quoted separately is on the Connected plan: an integration built on request or a custom feature for your group, each scoped on a call first.
Are text messages included?
Yes. Every plan includes a monthly SMS allowance; extra messages are metered. Basic includes 250 SMS and 1,000 emails a month. Reminders and program notifications also go out by push and email on every plan. Two-way texting with your own practice number is on Scale, Branded and Connected. We walk you through the allowance on your demo.
Which plans include a BAA?
Every plan. A loyalty program knows who your patients are and what they buy, so it holds patient data. Velarya signs a Business Associate Agreement with every practice, on every plan.
Which plans include our own app?
Branded and Connected. We build your own iOS and Android app and publish it in both stores under your practice's name, from your own Apple developer account. Every plan also includes the Velarya app, in your colors.
What are integrations built on request?
On the Connected plan, our team builds a connection between Velarya and another system your practice uses, such as your practice software, CRM or accounting tool, where the vendor publishes an API. You book a call, we scope it against that API, build and test it with your team, and switch it on in your account. Each connection is quoted separately. Connected also includes our public API and signed webhooks, with keys issued by Velarya.
How much does Connected cost?
Connected is priced for your group, because it depends on how many locations you run, which integrations and custom features you want built, and where your data has to be hosted. Talk to sales and we will quote it after a call.
What does on request mean on Connected?
On Connected, a capability marked on request is built for your group when you sign, with the delivery date written into your agreement. Everything else in the table is in the product today.
