Once built, checkout in the app can offer Tabby next to card payment, your front desk can send a Tabby payment link to a patient's phone, and a captured Tabby payment earns points at the same rate as any other payment.

How it works

Available on request. Book a call, we scope it against Tabby's published API, build and test it with your team, and it goes live in your account.

Your practice opens a Tabby merchant account and shares its merchant code and API keys with Velarya.
When a patient chooses Tabby, Velarya creates a Tabby checkout session and opens Tabby's payment page in the app.
Tabby notifies Velarya by webhook when the payment is authorized, and Velarya captures it and records the points.
Before launch, Tabby's team runs its QA checks on the connection and issues live keys.

Each connection is scoped on a call and quoted separately, and the timeline is agreed on that call.

Does Velarya integrate with Tabby?

Available on request: our team builds the connection for your practice after a scoping call, using Tabby's published API. Once it is live, patients in Saudi Arabia can choose Tabby when they buy treatments in the app.

Do patients earn points when they pay with Tabby?

Yes, at the same rate as any other payment, once the Tabby payment is captured. There is no extra reward for choosing Tabby, and a refunded purchase takes its points back.

What does Tabby need from our practice?

A Tabby merchant account in Saudi Arabia, registered at merchant.tabby.sa, plus the merchant code and API keys Tabby issues. For a custom connection like this one, Tabby shares live keys after its team completes QA testing.

What patient details go to Tabby?

The buyer's name, email, phone number and an address, which Tabby requires on every checkout session. Items are sent under a neutral title, so no treatment name or visit detail reaches Tabby.

Can the front desk take Tabby payments in the clinic?

Yes. Tabby supports payment links sent to the patient's phone, and we build that into the front desk so a Tabby payment taken at the counter earns points like an app purchase.
